DEF: George Benson “Give Me The Night”

Pittsburgh-born musician George Benson has appeared Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart 14 times in his career, with seven of those singles reaching the Top 40 and four climbing to the Top 10. Among all of those singles, Benson’s biggest hit came with “Give Me The Night,” which exactly 35 years ago rose to a peak position of number 4, where it would spend two weeks.
