DEF: GQ “Sad Girl”

New York City-based group GQ garnered national attention in 1979 when they reached the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with “Disco Nights (Rock-Freak)” and “I Do Love You.” Three years later, they made a third appearance on the chart with “Sad Girl,” which on this date in 1982 debuted at a peak position of number 93. “Sad Girl” by GQ is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
