DEF: Information Society “Walking Away”

Minneapolis-based band Information Society is most remembered for their biggest hit, “What’s On Your Mind (Pure Energy),” which climbed to number 3 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1988. They did, though, hit the Top 10 a second time, with their next single, “Walking Away.” On this date in 1989, “Walking Away” rose to a peak position of number 9, where it would spend one week.
