DEF: John Parr “Blame It On The Radio”

British musician John Parr is best known for his hit single “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man In Motion),” which spent two weeks at number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1985. That song was one of five appearance Parr has made on the Hot 100, with all of them coming in the 1980s. Parr’s final appearance came in late 1986/early 1987 as the song “Blame It On The Radio” spent six weeks on the chart.

On this date in 1986, “Blame It On The Radio” debuted at number 88, which is where the song would peak for two weeks. John Parr’s “Blame It On The Radio” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
