Duran Duran bassist John Taylor appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart just once as a solo artist, though he reached the Top 40 in doing so. That appearance occurred with his song “I Do What I Do …,” which was the theme from the film 9 1/2 Weeks. Exactly 30 years ago, “I Do What I Do …(Theme for 9 1/2 Weeks)” climbed to a peak position of number 23.
