DEF: Journey “Still They Ride”
San Francisco-based band Journey scored the biggest hit of their career when “Open Arms” spent six weeks at number 2 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1982. While their followup single didn’t reach quite the same height, it did make the Top 20. On this date in 1982, that followup single — “Still They Ride” — rose to a peak position of number 19, where it would spend three weeks.
