DEF: Katrina and the Waves “Walking On Sunshine”

British band Katrina and the Waves hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart three times in their career, all during the 1980s.  The biggest of those hits, and the only Top 10 hit, was also the band’s first appearance on the chart, “Walking On Sunshine.”  On this date in 1985, “Walking On Sunshine” peaked at number 9 on the Hot 100.
