DEF: Kenny G “Silhouette”

Seattle-born musician Kenny G hit the Top 20 with each of his first three singles to appear on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The first two — “Songbird” and “Don’t Make Me Wait For Love” — came from his 1986 album Duotones. The third was the title track from his next album, Silhouette. On this date in 1989, “Silhouette” reached a peak position of number 13, where it would spend one week. Today, “Silhouette” by Kenny G is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
