DEF: Kim Wilde “Go For It”
London-born singer Kim Wilde has hit the Top 40 twice — once in 1982 with “Kids In America” and then a second time in 1987 with “You Keep Me Hangin’ On.” Between those two hits, Wilde made another appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. On this date in 1985, that song — “Go For It” (which was titled “The Second Time” outside of North America) — climbed to a peak position of number 65, where it would spend one week. Today, “Go For It” by Kim Wilde is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
