DEF: Kool & The Gang “Celebration”

Jersey City, New Jersey-based group Kool & The Gang have appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart 33 times, with 21 of those songs reaching the Top 40 and 12 of them hitting the Top 10. Among the entire group, the band’s biggest hit is their only number one hit, “Celebration,” which exactly 35 years ago, climbed to the top of the chart for a two-week stay.
