DEF: Men at Work “Overkill”
Melbourne-based band Men at Work achieved their greatest success on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their first two charting singles, “Who Can It Be Now?” and “Down Under,” both of which reached number one and both of which appeared on the band’s first album, Business as Usual. Men at Work’s second album, Cargo, also produced two Top 10 hits, and on this date in 1983, the first of those two hits, “Overkill,” climbed to a peak position of number 3,  where it would spend one week. “Overkill” by Men at Work is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
