DEF: Olivia Newton-John “Heart Attack”

Coming off her highly successful album Physical, in 1982 Melbourne, Australia-born singer Olivia Newton-John released Olivia’s Greatest Hits Vol. 2. In addition to a collection of Newton-John’s previous hits, the album contained two new songs, both of which were released as singles. The first of those singles — “Heart Attack” — rose to number 3 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, and on this date in 1982, “Heart Attack” reached that peak position, where it would spend four weeks.
