DEF: Poco “Call It Love”
Los Angeles-based band Poco experienced its greatest popular music success in 1979 when two singles from their Legend album — “Crazy Love” and “Heart Of The Night” — hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. A decade later, the band hit the Top 20 for a third time when “Call It Love” from their Legacy album reached number 18. On this date in 1989, “Call It Love” climbed to that peak position, where it would spend one week. Today, Poco’s “Call It Love” is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
