DEF: Rainbow “I Surrender”
In addition to making three appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, British supergroup Rainbow hit the Bubbling Under chart twice. On this date in 1981, the second of those two bubbling under songs, “I Surrender,” began its two-week run on the chart. Today, “I Surrender” by Rainbow is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
