DEF: REO Speedwagon “Can’t Fight This Feeling”

Amid 13 Top 40 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all peppered throughout the 1980s, Illinois-based band REO Speedwagon hit number one twice. The first of those chart-topping singles came with “Keep On Loving You” in 1981, and then exactly 30 years ago, REO Speedwagon hit number one for the second time when “Can’t Fight This Feeling” did the trick. The song would spend three weeks at the top of the chart, making it the band’s biggest hit.
