Ricky Skaggs hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot Country Singles chart with all three songs from his 1983 album Don’t Cheat in Our Hometown that made appearances on the chart. Exactly 35 years ago, the third of that trio of songs, “Uncle Pen,” climbed to the top of the chart for a one-week reign.
