DEF: Robin Gibb “Boys Do Fall In Love”
In addition to his numerous hits as part of the Bee Gees, Robin Gibb reached the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice as a solo artist. The first and biggest hit came with a remake of the Beatles’ “Oh Darling” from the film Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. That song peaked at number 15 in 1978. Then, with his second Top 40 hit, on this date in 1984, Gibb climbed to a peak position of number 37 for one week with “Boys Do Fall In Love.”
