Detroit-born musician Rockwell hit the Top 40 with both songs he placed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 35 years ago, the first of those two songs, and Rockwell’s biggest hit, “Somebody’s Watching Me,” rose to a peak position of number 2.
