DEF: Rodney Crowell “After All This Time”
Texas-born musician Rodney Crowell hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot Country Singles chart five times. All five of those songs came from his 1988 album Diamonds & Dirt, setting a record by becoming the first album to yield five number one songs on the country chart. Exactly 30 years ago, the fourth of those five songs, “After All This Time,” which won a 1990 Grammy for Best Country Song, rose to the top of the chart for a one-week reign. To commemorate that anniversary, “After All This Time” by Rodney Crowell is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
