DEF: Skyy “Call Me”
New York City-based band Skyy appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice — once in 1982 with “Call Me” and once in 1990 with “Real Love.” Skyy’s first appearance also resulted in their only Top 40 hit, as on this date in 1982, “Call Me” reached a peak position of number 26, where it would spend two weeks.
