DEF: Starship “Sara”

After developing out of Jefferson Starship in the early 1980s, San Francisco-based band Starship would go on to hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart three times. Exactly 30 years ago, the second of those three chart-topping singles — “Sara” — climbed to number one for a one-week stay. In commemoration of that anniversary, “Sara” by Starship is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
