DEF: Starship “We Built This City”

After the San Francisco-based band once known as Jefferson Airplane and then as Jefferson Starship changed their named to simply Starship in the mid-1980s, they would go on to score three number one singles on Billboard‘s Hor 100 chart in less than two years — the only three number one hits of the band’s history throughout its three permutations. To commemorate that anniversary, “We Built This City” by Starship is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
