DEF: Stevie Nicks with Don Henley “Leather and Lace”
Phoenix-born singer Stevie Nicks‘ first three singles outside of her work with Fleetwood Mac were all duets that hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. After reaching number 5 in 1978 with Kenny Loggins on “Whenever I Call You ‘Friend'” and then number 3 in 1981 with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” exactly 35 years ago, Nicks climbed to a peak position of number 6 along with Don Henley on “Leather and Lace.” To commemorate that anniversary, “Leather and Lace” by Stevie Nicks with Don Henley is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
