DEF: Survivor “Burning Heart”

Chicago-based band Survivor scored the biggest hit of their career when their song “Eye Of The Tiger” from the film Rocky III spent six weeks at number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1982. When the next film in the franchise, Rocky IV, came out a few years later, it produced the band’s second-biggest hit. Exactly 30 year ago, that song — “Burning Heart” — rose to a peak position of number 2, where it would spend two weeks.
