DEF: Sweet Sensation “Hooked on You”
The first of Sweet Sensation’s eight songs to appear on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart was “Hooked on You,” which hit number 64 in 1987. Two years later, the trio released a remix of the song that became the second of their four Top 40 hits. On this date in 1989, the remixed “Hooked on You” climbed to a peak position of number 23.
