Among songs that seemed like they would have peaked higher on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart is Talking Heads‘ “Once in a Lifetime.” The video got significant rotation on MTV, but the studio version of the song only bubbled under the chart in 1981, and a live version of the song spent just four weeks on the chart five years later.
