DEF: Tears for Fears “Head Over Heels”

Bath, England-based band Tears for Fears hit the Top 5 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with three songs from their 1984 album Songs From the Big Chair. The first two — “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “Shout” — reached number one in the summer of 1985 . Then, on this date that year, “Head Over Heels” climbed to a peak position of number 3. “Head Over Heels” by Tears for Fears is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
