DEF: The Cars “Drive”

Boston-based band The Cars have hit the Top 10 four times in their career, with all four of those hits coming in the 1980s. Of the four, the biggest was “Drive,” which spent three weeks at number 3 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1984, starting exactly 30 years ago today.

Earlier this year, The Cars’ “Drive” beat out Incubus and R.E.M. to win the “Drive” Title Title here on Tunesmate. Today, it’s Tunesmate’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
