DEF: Tiffany “I Think We’re Alone Now”
Norwalk, California-born singer Tiffany made six appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all between 1987 and 1989. Five of those six songs hit the Top 40, with four reaching the Top 10. The run of success started with Tiffany’s first charting single, a remake of Tommy James and The Shondells’ “I Think We’re Alone Now,” which rose to number one for a two-week reign exactly 30 years ago today. To commemorate that anniversary, “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tiffany is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
