Though she never reached Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, between the mid-1980s and the early 1990s, gospel singer Tramaine made a few appearances on the R&B Singles chart. The most successful of those songs was “Fall Down (Spirit of Love),” which also reached number one on the Dance chart. Exactly 35 years ago, “Fall Down (Spirit of Love) climbed to its peak position on the R&B chart of number 7.
