DEF: Van Halen “Jump”

Covering a time period ranging from 1978 to 2012, Van Halen has made twenty-three appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Among those appearances, sixteen songs have reached the Top 40 and three have hit the Top 10. The band’s biggest hit is their only number one hit, “Jump,” which exactly 35 years ago, climbed to the top of the chart for a five-week reign.
