Della Reese 1931-2017

Actor and singer Della Reese passed away on Monday at the age of 86. In recent years, Reese was known for starring in the television show Touched by an Angel. In the late 1950s, though, Reese was known for her success in the music industry, as she hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart between 1957 and 1960. Reese’s biggest hit was “Don’t You Know,” which climbed to a peak position of number 2 in 1959.
