End of the Road
20 years ago today, Boyz II Men went #1 for 13 weeks with “End of the Road”. The song seemed to capture the changing hip-hop culture and the airwaves couldn’t get enough of New Jack Swing. The group who derived their name from a New Edition song continued to pump out memorable ballads throughout the 1990s.
Now a trio, Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris and Shawn Stockman are still recording and producing music. Michael_McCary, the baritone, left in 2003 due to chronic back problems from the rigorous touring schedule. How does this song stand-up? Is it in the lock it up stage yet?
