Guess What Famous Guitarist Performed With David Bowie?
Guess What? David Bowie hired Stevie Ray Vaughn as a studio musician before he hit it big. The famous blues guitarist was featured on the hit singles China Girl and Modern Love. The opening groove in Modern Love is distinctly SRV but unless you listen for it throughout the song, you just get lost in the greatness of Bowie. In the China Girl video, you can see a glimpse of SRV and if you listen – Â the guitar solo is distinctively bluesy.
