Guess What? Whitesnake’s only #1 hit “Here I Go Again” guitar solo was played by Adrian Vandenberg. On the 1987 self-titled album Whitesnake, it was the only part he played on it. The Dutch rock guitarist, best known for his tenure in Whitesnake, also fronted his own band, Vandenberg. The band charted with the #39 US hit “Burning Heart” in 1983.
