Guest What? Van Halen Played On A Kiss Track
Guess What? According to an interview with Gene Simmons on Jeremy White’s podcast, both Eddie and Alex Van Halen played on the original demo of Kiss’ “Christine Sixteen”. When Kiss recorded their version of the song, Simmons said that he made Frehley copy Eddie’s solo from the demo. The tune peaked at #24 on the U.S. Billboard chart in 1977.
