Happy 50th Birthday, Enya!

Happy birthday to Irish singer-songwriter Enya, who turns 50 years old today.  Enya is most known for her series of platinum-selling albums since the late 1980s that have become popular within the “New Age” musical genre.  She has also enjoyed some international success with singles, scoring a number of top 40 hits throughout the world over the last two-and-a-half decades.  In the United States, two of her songs have hit the top 40:  “Orinoco Flow (Sail Away),” which went to number 24 in 1989, and “Only Time,” which hit number 10 in 2000.
