All three songs from Elton John‘s 1973 Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album that appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart hit the Top 20. Exactly 50 years ago, the first of that trio of songs, “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” was in its second of three weeks at a peak position of number 12.
