Elvis Presley‘s 1970 album Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits Vol. 1 contained four new songs, three of which hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 50 years ago, the second of those three hits — “Don’t Cry Daddy,” which was also featured in his last feature film, Change of Habit — was at number 7 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, working its way up to a peak position of number 6 the following week.
