Chicago-based band New Colony Six made ten appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with two of those songs reaching the Top 40. Their biggest hit was their only Top 20 hit, ‘Things I’d Like to Say,” which exactly 50 years ago climbed to a peak position of number 16.
