In 1966-1967, Boise, Idaho-based band Paul Revere and the Raiders experienced their period of greatest pop music success as they placed four songs into the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 50 years ago, the fourth of those songs — “Him or Me – What’s It Gonna Be?” — climbed to a peak position of number 5.
