Sonny & Cher appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart 18 times as a duo, with 10 of those singles hitting the Top 40 and five reaching the Top 10. Among all of those singles, their biggest hit was their very first one, “I Got You Babe.” Exactly 50 years ago, “I Got You Babe” climbed to number one for a three-week stay.
