It Happened 50 Years Ago: The American Breed “Bend Me, Shape Me”
Illinois-based band The American Breed made five appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with three of those songs reaching the Top 40. The band’s only Top 10 hit came with “Bend Me, Shape Me,” which exactly 50 years ago climbed to a peak position of number 5.
