It Happened 50 Years Ago: The Friends of Distinction “Grazing in the Grass”
Los Angeles-based group The Friends of Distinction made six appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Their biggest hit came with their first song to appear on the chart, “Grazing in the Grass,” which exactly 50 years ago rose to a peak position of number 3.
