The Supremes have already been the subject of three editions of “It Happened 50 Years Ago,” dating back to the very first edition this past fall. This week marks one more anniversary for the Supremes, as exactly 50 years ago, they hit number 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with a fifth consecutive single. This time, “Back In My Arms Again” did the trick, rising to the top spot for a one-week stay.
