Just over a year ago, when “It Happened 50 Years Ago” debuted on Tunesmate, the first post featured “Baby Love,” the second number one single for Motown group The Supremes. In the time since, the Supremes have been featured three more times, celebrating the anniversaries of three more number one singles. Now, make that four , as today marks the 50th anniversary of the Supremes’ sixth number one single, “I Hear A Symphony,” climbing to number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for a two-week reign.
