El Paso-born singer Vikki Carr made seven appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with three of those songs reaching the Top 40. By far her biggest hit was her only Top 10 hit, “It Must Be Him,” which exactly 50 years ago was in its second week of a two-week run at a peak position of number 3.
