Love Never Felt So Good
Recently the tune by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake entitled “Love Never Felt So Good” has been racing up the charts. The song was originally written by Paul Anka and Michael Jackson back in 1981. This revival of old tunes makes me ask the question, “Do most artists have one period where most of their material is generated and then go back to that well when it runs dry?” I know the last Van Halen album A Different Kind of Truth was recycled riffs from the early 1980s. Why not go back to what made you big and then you sound all retro? If you listen to this Michael Jackson song, you can hear the disco influence. I wonder if it was written for the Off The Wall album. What do you think of the song? What do you rate it?
