Mary Tyler Moore
Actress Mary Tyler Moore passed away yesterday at the age of 80. Moore is most remembered for her both popular and critically acclaimed television show The Mary Tyler Moore Show, which ran on CBS from 1970 to 1977. One memorable part of the show was the theme song, “Love Is All Around,” which was written and performed by Texas-born singer Sonny Curtis, who made Billboard‘s country singles chart with a version of the song in 1980. The song has also been covered by a number of artists, including a memorable high-energy version by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
