Norwegian band One 2 Many had just one hit song in their career. Released in 1988, “Downtown” hit number one in Norway and cracked the top 40 elsewhere in Europe. The song also managed to sneak into the top 40 for four weeks in the United States. Exactly 25 years ago, “Downtown” peaked at number 37 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.
